Symmetrical Art Work

We did some paper folding last week. We put different colours of paint on a page and then folded it in half. Then we left to dry for a day because the paint needed to dry off. The patterns were symmetrical. We had to cut out cardboard to make a back to make a back for our pictures. The cardboard was hard to cut through. We made bumble bees, butterflies and summer trees in bloom. They are on display on our class window if you want to take a look.
