THE FOOD PYRAMID

We learned about the food pyramid and we learned that you should eat less of the foods at the top of the food pyramid and more of the foods at the bottom.You should eat lots of the bottom which includes potatoes, breads,cereals rice and PASTA.We also learned that it is important to eat a healthy and balenced diet. You should not eat a lot of the foods at the top of the food pyramid. All the foods at the top of the food pyramid have lots of fats and sugars in.

Pasta Pictures

This week in Science we have been learning about the Food Pyramid. The food pyramid is made up of 5 different food types. For our bodies to grow strong and healthy we need to eat the correct amounts from each food group. One of the most important food groups is the carbohydrate and potato group. Pasta is one of the foods in this group. We learned about all the different types of pasta. If you can it is better to have the wholewheat pasta instead of the regular pasta.

Today we made some pictures using pasta. We all came up with different ideas. Take a look at some of us working on some of our pictures.
