Harvest Time

We learned about harvest time. In the summer during July or August or even September the farmer has to go out and harvest his crops for fruit, vegetables and wheat. The farmer uses the combine harvester which sprays the wheat out of a tank. The straw can be used for animals or in the past it was used to thatch houses. Written by: Rachael Caulfield

We brought in some straw today to use in our Art work. This was harvested by some local farmers.
