Competition Winners!
My football blitzOn Saturday the 31st of November I had a football blitz. We played three teams.They were really hard. The first team was kind of easy and we had a good win. Then the next team were harder, we drew so it went to final scores and we had more scores. We were in the finales and we thought we were going to lose in the first half. But we kept trying and we got ahead by 2 goals then they got 1 goal and a point. Then the whistle blew we won 2nd year in a row. It was a great day!
My Medals.Saturday the 7th October I went to a feis. I came 4th in the heavy jig and 2nd in my reel. After the dances I got some sweets. When I went home I was really happy. I can’t believe I wasn’t tired. I even went doing more Irish dancing but I was still glad!
My books.On the 24th of October I won the Ireland children book festival. I got five books and a watch and a yo-yo and a game that looks like a portable Sony play station. It was so, so cool. There was a big big book and it had 499 pages. I’ve only read 22 pages. My shortest book has 155 pages. That’s called 39 clues! It's about 7 mysteries and I still havn't read it. That’s the biggest competition I’ve ever won. They were really good books and I am glad that I won the in the Ireland children book festival! Go me!
