Green School Visitor

Today we had a visitor from the Green Schools Organisation. His name was Graham Clarke. 4th class invited him to look at all their hard work in the garden. He also looked at our WOW day posters in our classroom. We are working hard to keep our school a proud and green school. Well done everybody.

Jesus is Risen.

The stones were rolled away.

At mass we celebrate the Risen Jesus.

This is the body and blood of Jesus. We listen to the word of God.

Christ has Died, Christ has Risen, Christ will come again.

Eye Cinema Art Competition Winner

Well done on winning all these prizes. What a lovely picture - the judges were very impressed with it. Congratulations!

Gardening Group

Thank you very much to Mary who gives up so much of her time to work in the garden with the children of 3rd and 4th class. They have been very busy this Spring.

Science

Here we are testing out a science experiment. We tested different solids to see if they disolved better in hot or cold water. Next we will try to separate the mixed solution of a dissolved solid from the water. The water will evaporate and the solid will remain.

Furniture Display.

My Dad made these stools. He collects branches from the forest and makes them into furniture. I brought these to school so everyone could see them.

Easter Art Work

Easter reflection.

We went to the church and remembered the Easter story at the stations of the cross. We said our own private prayers at the altar.

Science Experiment - Warm Air v Cold Air.

We did a science experiment to see which takes up more space cold air or hot air. We tested this using balloons filled with air. We took the measurements before and after placing them into the fridge. We found that the cold air took up less room than the warm air as the size of the balloon decreased.

Star Performances at our Easter School Concert. Well done everyone!
