Happy Hallowe'en Day

Wednesday, October 26, 2011

We had an "election day" in our classroom today.
Everyone had to cast their vote for the next president. We each had a ballot paper with all the candidates.

We had to count the votes carefully.

Each had to wait in turn for the votes to be read out.

Here are the votes we counted.
This was the ballot box we used.

I drew this picture of where the president lives.

I carefully chose my vote at a quiet desk.

Art lesson

In Science we have been learning about the eyes. We made our own model of eyeballs using clay and then we painted them.

We had fun modelling with clay. We made lots of different things and then remodelled them to make new things. This was a good way of working with the clay.

In Science we have been learning about our teeth. We decided to make some models for display We have a very good imagination using the shoe boxes and coloured paper.

Painting Time.

Here we are mixing paints for our Halloween pictures. We carefully painted the sky first and mixed water with our paints to help mix the colours. After a day of drying we painted our Halloween pictures.

Paper Weaving - Arts and Crafts.

Here we are doing some marble printing with Mrs Magnier.
