St Brigid's Day

As St Brigid's Day is approaching we made some St. Brigid's day crosses. Cathal and Cassidy brought in some reeds for everyone. We worked in pairs to make each cross.

St Brigid used the reeds to make a cross. This reminds us all the Jesus died on the cross for us.

Owl Paintings

We made owls during art. We cut the owls using brown paper. Then we stuck them onto blue card. Afterwards we using printing methods to print the face, eyes and feathers on the owl. They are hanging up in the classroom this week. They look very colourful.

CeilĂ Dancing in the Community Centre

Ken Kelly from Creggs, Co. Roscommon is our ceili dancing teacher. We started our ceili dancing lessons last week. Every Friday we go to the community centre at 10 o clock. We spend one hour learning the dances. So far we have learned the Walls of Limerick and the Siege of Ennis. It is also great exercise.
