We have been learning more about the snail and the earthworm. We gathered more information and wrote our fact sheets.

Pancake Tuesday!

We made and ate our own pancakes. They were delicious!

Spring Walk!

Today was such a lovely day we took time out to enjoy our local area. We looked especially for signs of spring. There are some signs of buds appearing on the trees. We also found some daffodil buds. It was nice to see some spring lambs in the distance. We ended our walk at the stream.

Spring is here - we are sowing sunflower seeds!
Today we planted our sunflower seeds. We carefully placed the sunflower seeds in the compost. To allow the seeds to germinate we have left the trays in Carmel's office. There is more heat there instead of the prefab!!

Biodiversity

A lovely representative from Sliabh Aughty came to our class today. She taught us more about animals and how they survive in the wild.

We also learned about recycling and how important it is to reuse things.

We played games outside. The fox and the owl had to catch their prey.
